“A dose-dependent improvement in sexual behavior was observed with the LAET treatment as characterized by an increase in mount frequency, intromission frequency, and penile erection index, as well as a decrease in mount latency, intromission latency, and ejaculatory latency. The enhancement of sexual behavior was more prominent on chronic administration of LAET. Chronic administration of LAET produced a significant increase in serum testosterone levels with no significant effect on the sperm count. No overt body system dysfunctions were observed in 28-day oral toxicity study.“
Androgenic side effects, although much lesser than Testosterone, are still a possibility with Equipoise. Although Equipoise interacts with the 5AR (5-alpha reductase) enzyme, which is the enzyme responsible for the conversion of Testosterone into the stronger androgen DHT (Dihydrotestosterone), it does not convert into DHT but instead converts into Dihydroboldenone (DHB). Although it converts into DHB, studies have found Equipoise to undergo this conversion at a much lower rate than the conversion of Testosterone into DHT. Androgenic side effects can include: increased oily skin (sebum secretion), increased acne formation (linked to sebum secretion), bodily and facial hair growth, and the increased risk of experiencing male pattern baldness (MPB) if the individual possesses the genetic predisposition for it.
Maple Syrup Urine Disease (MSUD) is a condition that results from improper metabolism of branched-chain amino acids. The aromatic in fenugreek, sotolon, may be used as a diagnostic criteria for MSUD as it exists in the urine of those persons with this metabolic defect and gives the characteristic sweet-scent.  It normally does not appear in healthy person's urine due to no dietary intake, but may appear in those who drink or consume fenugreek, leading to a false diagnosis.  Maternal consumption of sotolon can also transfer into the baby after birth, and cause trans-generational false diagnosis.
